One of the best things about Aguilar is that they're all about the bass. It's hard to imagine anyone more qualified to build bass amplifiers than a staff full of bassists, and the results speak for themselves. Nothing makes a craftsman more passionate than creating gear for his or her own beloved instrument, and that passion is the secret ingredient that makes Aguilar amps some of the best gear that you'll find anywhere. An interesting thing about Aguilar is that some of their most renowned amps are the ones that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Aguilar's onboard preamps fit tidily into the body cavity of your favorite bass, where they'll give you massive headroom and keep distortion under control while easily handling the entire tonal range of the instrument. When Bryant Siono needs to get one of his active basses ready for a Jennifer Lopez concert, it's an Aguilar preamp that goes inside.

Small size, big sound: that could be a running theme with Aguilar. While they're a lot bigger than an onboard preamp, Aguilar's Tone Hammer bass amp heads are still surprisingly compact. Don't let that fool you, though - the sound these little beasts pump out is anything but small. You'll get 175W at 8 ohms from the Tone Hammer 350, for example, or 350W at 4 ohms. It only goes up from there...up to the Tone Hammer 500, which pushes up to 500W, and expanding in both size and power to the almighty DB 751. If you run a 4 ohm speaker setup, the DB 751 will shake the stage with 750W.

Speaking of 4 ohm speakers, check out the DB 412 and DB 810 cabinets. Handling up to 1200W and 1400W respectively, these powerhouses are almost like a challenge from Aguilar to bring on your biggest amp head and see how many windows you can break. If you're not so eager to rattle a venue's picture frames off the walls, Aguilar makes a nice variety of smaller cabinets as well. Just take a look and find the one that's perfect for you.

Big sound is exactly what you can expect from one of the biggest names on the bass scene. Aguilar's top notch reputation is well-deserved - the moment you first plug into your new Aguilar bass amplifier and strike that first note, it's virtually a guarantee that you'll be blown away.
