The Laureate Series LD70e's handcrafted solid spruce top is carefully seasoned to produce a resonant, full-bodied tone. As you play the guitar, the top opens up and provides a wider dynamic range and sweeter highs. The solid spruce top gives your music a rich, nuanced quality that inspires creativity.
Rosewood Back and Sides Provide Warmth and Punch
The hand-selected rosewood back and sides complement the spruce top with a focused, balanced tone. Rosewood adds warmth, depth and a clear low end that provides rhythmic punch. Its dense, reflective qualities also enhance projection, allowing the LD70e to fill a room with gorgeous sound.
Innovative Bracing Enhances Resonance and Sustain
The Laureate Series LD70e features an FS6 bracing system that optimizes the response of the solid spruce top. Hand-cut braces made of quartersawn spruce efficiently transfer vibration through the top, enhancing resonance, sustain and volume. Even the side braces are hand-selected to match the rosewood back and sides, allowing the entire guitar to resonate as a cohesive whole.

With the L.R. Baggs HiFi pickup system, you can amplify your Laureate LD70e naturally. The HiFi system accurately captures the guitar's acoustic properties and tone, resisting feedback. Discreet bridge plate sensors listen to your instrument's acoustic movement and tonewoods without dampening resonance. You'll hear your guitar's true voice through the system. Volume and tone controls mounted inside the guitar's soundhole allow you to easily shape your amplified tone.
