Overview

Designed for high-speed playing with an HSS configuration of Seymour Duncan pickups.

The Jackson American Series Soloist SL3 electric guitar is built for the stage, packed with versatile features to inspire standout performances night after night. The Soloist SL3 starts with a double-cutaway alder body for enhanced resonance without excess weight. Its sleek contours offer easy access to the highest frets. The 3-piece maple neck provides rock-solid stability, while the 12"–16" compound radius ebony fingerboard is ideal for both chording and lightning-fast soloing. With a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups, you can dial in everything from biting lead tones to glassy cleans.

Seymour Duncan Pickups Offer Versatile Tonal Options

The Soloist SL3 guitar comes loaded with a versatile selection of Seymour Duncan pickups for a broad tonal palette. The Seymour Duncan JB humbucker at the bridge provides plenty of hot output and low end punch, perfect for aggressive rock and metal riffing. The Flat Strat single coils in the middle and neck positions deliver glassy treble response and scooped mids, ideal for shimmering cleans and chordal playing. With the 5-way pickup selector switch, you can access the full range of tones from twangy single coil snap to blistering humbucker roar.

Compound Radius Ebony Fingerboard Enables Effortless Playing

Shredding rapid solos and complex chords is effortless on the Soloist SL3's compound radius ebony fingerboard. With a 12" radius at the nut, it's curved for comfortable chording. As you move up the neck, it flattens out to a fast 16" radius that allows easy bends without fretting out. The jumbo frets also provide smooth, buzz-free bending. Luminlay side dots make the fingerboard clearly visible on any stage. The heel-mount truss rod wheel lets you make quick adjustments between sets.

Floyd Rose Tremolo Bridge Keeps You In Tune

No matter how wild your whammy bar antics get on stage, the Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking tremolo bridge keeps the Soloist SL3 guitar sounding pitch-perfect. The Floyd Rose system's fine tuners and locking nut clamp down on the strings for rock-solid tuning stability, even with heavy tremolo use that would knock other guitars out of tune. You can dip, dive and waver without a care. Gotoh MG-T locking tuners further enhance tuning reliability.

Sleek Body Shape Provides Easy Upper Fret Access

The Soloist SL3's sleek double-cutaway alder body provides effortless access to the highest frets for soloing. Its deep cutaways let you rip all the way up to the 24th fret. The lightweight alder construction helps prevent fatigue over long gigs, while still providing resonant sustain. Dunlop strap locks keep your guitar securely in place. Plus, the Soloist SL3 comes with a protective Jackson foam core case.
