As guitarists, it only makes sense that we want to have guitars at our sides when we hit the road. Whether you're going on vacation, visiting family or taking an epic road trip, it can be tough to fit a full-sized instrument along with all your other luggage. Thanks to Traveler Guitar, though, you won't have to leave music behind to make room for socks. They make a series of compact guitars ready to go wherever your excursions take you. When Traveler Guitar started out in 1992, the goal was clear: to give options to guitarists on the move and allow them to always have an instrument close at hand. Traveler doesn't make you settle for tiny guitars, either; their creative designs allow them to be smaller overall without having to reduce the scale size. Although they're compact, Traveler guitars are anything but toys. They're favorites of guitarists like Eddie Ojeda of Twisted Sister and Dave Tirio and Tim Lopez of the Plain White T's. After all, there's only so much space for jamming and instrument storage in a crowded tour bus. That makes these guitars the perfect fit.
Traveler has some great electric guitars for you no matter your skill level. Check out the Ultra-Light if you're looking for the smallest possible guitar. It's beginner-friendly but can definitely satisfy a veteran guitarist as well. Or, if you want something with a bit more of a classic look, consider the EG-1 Custom Electric Guitar, which features a built-in headphone amp and an aux-input jack so you can rock out to your favorite MP3s in the privacy of your own 'phones. Would you prefer an acoustic guitar? It doesn't even seem possible to make a travel-sized acoustic with great sound, but Traveler has pulled it off with the AG-105.
Whichever Traveler Guitar instrument is right for you, you'll like traveling even more once you've got it in your hands. Tight trunk space and even carry-on baggage restrictions are no match for Traveler, which means that you can always take a guitar along with you no matter where you're headed.
