Everything about the EBMM Majesty 7 is optimized for technical, progressive playing. The thin, fast neck has 24 stainless steel frets. Side dot inlays provide subtle guidance without distracting from the ebony fingerboard. The contoured basswood body is lightweight and balanced. High-quality hardware, including Schaller locking tuners and a Music Man tremolo bridge, ensures tuning stability under duress. The Majesty 7 is a finely tuned instrument that can keep up with the demands of the modern progressive guitarist.

Neck-Thru Mahogany Construction

The Majesty 7's neck-thru mahogany body provides exceptional resonance and sustain. The mahogany neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard, providing a smooth playing surface. A sculpted heel allows easy access to the upper frets. This solid construction and premium materials give the Majesty 7 a powerful, balanced tone with piano-like clarity.

Piezo-Equipped Tremolo Bridge

The Majesty 7's tremolo bridge is equipped with piezo pickups under each saddle, which capture the guitar's acoustic tone. Blend the piezos with the magnetic DiMarzio pickups using a push/push pot for a range of hybrid sounds. The tremolo arm allows subtle pitch bending and vibrato. This innovative bridge provides more tonal options than a standard hardtail or tremolo bridge.

Signature DiMarzio Pickups

Petrucci worked closely with DiMarzio to develop pickups tailored to his needs. The Majesty 7 is loaded with a Rainmaker neck pickup and Illuminator bridge pickup. The Rainmaker produces a warm, smooth tone for rhythm playing. The Illuminator has more output for searing lead tones. Used together, these articulate pickups capture the nuances of Petrucci's complex playing style.
